About Our Pricing

If you have seen Amanda as a patient before, you know that she takes as much time as possible to hear your concerns and input because your health is a partnership that we should all be invested in as a team.

As a patient herself, Amanda has always felt rushed with providers, and she feels that patients should get a say in the amount of time a medical provider spends with them. That is the main reason why she no longer works for a traditional primary care office within the confines of restrictive health insurance plans/ policies. To that end, we've developed a time-based fee schedule which is chosen in advance by the patient.

Q: Does Aleena Health take insurance?

A. We do not bill insurance directly, but you can be reimbursed for our services directly through your insurance company.

We document your visits to meet certain standards which allow you to submit our visit notes and your receipt for our services in order to get reimbursed for all or part of our fees through your insurance company. The generation of this visit receipt and visit notes is called a "superbill" and it is what you will present to your insurance company to be paid back for your care. We will fax it for you at no charge within 48 hours of the visit upon request.

At some point we may take insurance directly, but that would require us to employ more staff to coordinate with insurance companies, and that would require us to raise prices for visits.

Primary and Urgent Care Service Fees

Time-Based fee system, any exceptions or extras like required supplies for procedures will be explained to the patient prior to service so that you don't have to worry about surprise charges. These fees include normal administrative work from our staff outside of the appointment like collecting health history from you and requesting records from other providers, so there will not be an extra charge.

Up to 25 minutes with the provider

$75

Please note that this must be a follow-up visit (existing patient) as new patients will require longer than 25 minutes with the provider to discuss history and plan of care.
This time should cover 1-2 issues to be addressed for most people.
This is also the time slot to use for controlled substance refills like testosterone or phentermine.

25 to 45 minutes with the provider

$100

A first-time visit can be accomplished in this time frame for most people who do not have a complex and extensive medical history.
This time frame is recommended for existing patients with multiple or complex medical issues they would like to be addressed, and it is the recommended time frame if you would like any referrals.

45 minutes to an hour face-to-face with the provider

$125

This is a time frame for someone with a complex medical history who would like multiple issues addressed or would like multiple referrals.

Medication refill only, 15 minutes or less

$50

Please note that this must be for an existing patient requesting non-controlled substance medication refills as controlled-substance refills require extra paperwork/ reporting and licensing.
If you would like to go over labs or other results since your last appointment in addition to your medication refills, you will need a 25 minute appointment ($75).

**Please note, any patients who require monthly prescription refills will need to be seen in person or via telehealth at least every 90 days**
